January 2009
From all of us at Paddy's, wish you the very best for 2009. We shall eschew the usual comment on the state of affairs of the year past, and instead look ahead to a glorious 2009. Good bye Annus Horribilis and welcome Annus Mirabilis.
There is a lot of activity on the anvil, and primary among them being celebrations for Union City's 50th year.
Paddy's Coffee House is a fervent supporter of the events, are pleased to host the first ever event in 2009, related to the anniversary. January 3rd, from 4.30 to 6.30, we are having a reception for Union City's Unsung Heroes.
It was a good holiday season for us. We use this as a forum to thank all of you for your wishes, gifts, and of course your continued support and patronage.
Let's see, a reception, couple of open mics, jazz nights, Book Reading and discussions et all, what more can ask for. Accompanied with your favourite beverage and nibble of choice, no wonder the expression, "If there is a heaven on earth, 'tis here,'tis here" comes to mind. From all of us at Paddy's, we wish you the very best for 2009.

Coffee of the Month:
Colombian
Sorry, the holidays are over. Which means, no more Holiday Blend. But to keep those taste buds satiated, we have chosen coffee from Colombia as our coffee of the month. It is a high grown fully aromatic coffee. Really pleasant and mild to medium taste. No wonder, the requests kept pouring in, for us to feature this coffee.

Shrieking Paddy or Shirking Paddy ?
It's the new year and a new era. But unfortunately, the dawn of the new era was rendered asunder with a horrified shriek. All because Paddy woke up to a rather horrified discovery. Shifting of muscles and fat is inversely proportional to age. Ah the nostalgic slim glories of youth.
